ready in 10 minutes!
Step 1: Pat the shrimp dry very well. This will help the shrimp get a nice sear in the pan, without steaming.
Step 2: Add the oil and seasonings to the shrimp. Toss well to coat each shrimp evenly with the oil and seasonings.
Step 3: Place a large non-stick pan on the stove top (but don't turn on the stove yet!). Arrange the shrimp evenly in the pan.
Step 4: Turn the burner on high. Cook the shrimp for 3 - 4 minutes, or until the edges are turning opaque and the bottom sides are browned. Turn off the heat and flip the shrimp.
Step 5: Let the shrimp sit in the hot pan (with the burner off) for another 2 - 3 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through. (The shrimp should be pearly opaque, in a "C" shape.)
Step 6: As soon as the shrimp is cooked, remove them to a plate and serve immediately (with lemon wedges, or garlic butter if you like!).
RECIPE TIPS: -try using your own favorite seasoning blends, like lemon pepper, Cajun, or Old Bay. -leftovers will keep in the fridge for 3 - 4 days, or in the freezer for 3 months.
