Recipe ingredients: - pasta - tuna packed in oil - pesto sauce - grape tomatoes - lemon juice - salt & pepper

Step 1. Set pot of water to boil. Meanwhile, wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut each one in half.

Here's how to make the pesto tuna pasta!

Step 2: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta (but reserve some pasta water!).  Add pasta back to pot with the tomatoes, pesto, lemon, and undrained tuna.

Step 3: Stir together the pasta to evenly combine. Stir gently to avoid breaking up the tuna too much!

Step 4: Optional step: to thin the sauce, drizzle in some of the reserved pasta cooking water. Stir and add a little more until happy with the consistency.

Step 5: Season the tuna pesto pasta with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add in more lemon if desired.

- sub tuna in water if you don't have tuna packed in oil. - try garnishing with lemon wedges and basil leaves. - leftovers will keep in the fridge for 3 - 4 days.
